We are delighted to kindly inform you that Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates University, and a number of national and international institutions, are honored to be organizing the Eighth International Date Palm Conference, 2026, during the period from 28th of April till the 01st of May, 2026, at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi. Where scientists, specialists in various aspects of date palm cultivation, production, and industry, organizations, specialized research centers, executive directors, marketing directors, international investors, date palm producers, and nutritionists specializing in biotechnologies, will be participating in the Eighth International Date Palm Conference, 2026.
On this note, we are pleased to invite respected scientists and researchers specializing in fields of date palm cultivation and agricultural innovation, to contribute to the upcoming Eighth International Date Palm Conference, 2026, by submitting a scientific paper aligned with the ISHS criteria (attached). This important event offers a valuable platform to share groundbreaking research, innovative practices, and scientific advancements with a global community of experts. Accepted papers will be presented during the Conference, during 28th of April till the 01st of May, 2026, at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi, providing authors with an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborations. Furthermore, all accepted and presented papers will be then published in the official Conference’s Proceedings, which will be issued under the esteemed International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), ensuring international visibility and academic recognition.
Accordingly, please find below the terms and conditions of participation:
- Participations are only accepted through the Conference’s official website (www.idpc.ae).
- Participation is open both in (Oral or Poster) form, where the esteemed Conference’s scientific committee has the final decision to decide on the form of participation, where respected participants will be informed, accordingly.
- Submitted papers will only be raised to the respected Conference’s scientific committee, if all ISHS requirements (attached) were fulfilled in the submitted paper.
- Deadline to receiving participations: 31stDecember, 2025.
- Failure in achieving any of the above requirements, and deadline, will disqualify the submission of the participant.
As for accepted participants, the Award’s General Secretariat will be happy to cover their hotel accommodation, and domestic transportation. However, the air-ticket is the complete responsibility of the participant.
