The present distance learning course entitled “Organic Horticulture For Arid and Semi Arid Regions“ is planned to provide Arabic – speaking agricultural engineers with updated technical and scientific knowledge in the field of organic horticulture with a special focus on the case of arid and semi arid regions. The course is divided into six Modules: the first lays the basic principles and legal framework for organic production, the second focuses on organic horticulture under arid and semi arid climate and the third on marketing and economic issues.
